Nothing is Impossible with God!

Hello Team!

It has been awhile since my last update. I’m pleased to announce as of February 2016 I am cancer free! Praise God! There’s nothing my God cannot do – Matthew 19:26

After several months of treatment I am finally feeling closer to normal! God brought me through some very rough seas. I must say that His strength was made perfect in my weakness. I needed the body of Christ. And I am so grateful for the family of God that came around me during this time. Your prayers were the reason I got through this!

I am receiving checkups every 3 months. All reports have come back with no evidence of cancer. Working together with my leadership I have been given approval to move forward. Meaning I will prepare to return to Ethiopia as a career missionary! I will be receiving training & raising finances in the coming months. Once I am fully funded I will fly back to Africa! I am about my father’s business!

But it gets better…

While I was letting the Lord fight my battles He was answering my prayers for fellow harvest workers! That’s right I will be getting teammates on the ground in Ethiopia! Hallelujah! Please be praying that my teammates receive their funding as well. For with God all things are possible – Luke 1:37

I was able to visit Ethiopia for a short period while I was recuperating to check on our church plants & visit with friends. What a wonderful homecoming that was! First I made my way to Jinka & got to see the new church they are building. And then I found my friend Markos who is a missionary sent from this congregation. I also connected with my young friend Segeray from the Kara tribe. He is turning into a fine young man while he studies in Jinka. Segeray is an orphan that my friend Abraham has taken in. He has really grown in the Lord living in a faith filled home.

I also got to visit with our friends in the Maale tribe & see their new church building! We sang together & encouraged each brother & sister. They are so precious & the body of believers is growing. We are thanking God for the harvest in this area. Lastly I was able to visit our Arbore friends. We experienced such a wonderful time with fellow believers. A brother in Christ washed my feet and prayed over me thanking God I was alive!

The Arbore are experiencing some unrest so please be praying for peace to come to this area. Pray also for our local missionaries that God would supply their every need & protect them. They have families just like we do. And little mouths to feed! All of our young church planters need your prayers including this one! I hope to see everyone while I’m home & traveling around to churches! I cannot do this without you! Thank you!
