President Who?

TODAY’S NEWS

What a day! On many levels. But thank God nothing happens without his notice or knowledge. Not even who wins this election! Oh but that’s another subject! On a lighter note Breast Cancer Awareness month just ended. As you can imagine I got pulled into many activities to help promote early detection & awareness in “Pink-tober”. Being a survivor is a special thing, Amen! Among my favorites was participating in the Links for Life fashion show & getting to “model” some fancy clothes with fellow survivor friends & local news anchors! By the way, thanks Tim Calahan from channel 23ABC for your support! I am now 10 months Cancer-Free! Insert happy dance!

Three weeks ago I was officially approved by the Assemblies of God World Missions to be a career missionary & return to Ethiopia to continue work among Unreached People Groups. I now have my new budget…so I’m asking for prayer! And let’s watch together as the Lord supplies all of the monthly commitments I need to get back! It takes people to make pledges! If you receive this newsletter & you would like to start supporting our mission to Unreached People in southern Ethiopia please follow this link to give: GIVE NOW!

I had the honor of speaking to students at Vanguard University during their GEO week. We had a great response from students feeling called onto the mission field. Please partner with me in prayer for the Lord to send out harvest workers not only from Vanguard but college campuses around the nation & globe. It was awesome to have our Africa pipeline & Mission One Eleven team there to help get students in southern California connected to missions!

Please keep my teammates in prayer. They too face big obstacles to get on the mission field. But absolutely nothing is too hard for God! Right! Like that election! Haha! I suppose many of us will be voting today. I feel honored to be in the country this year and alive & able to vote. It’s not always easy but it’s still a privilege to live in a country where the people have a voice. This is not always the case in the areas I work in. Please lift up Ethiopia in prayer as the unrest & violence flares because of governmental dissatisfaction. Pray that the Prince of Peace would restore order & peace again.
